Capi was founded by Mitch Riley, Scott Liddle, and Tom Watson. Mitch and Scott were COO/CFO/GC and CRO/CMO at Taptap Send, a remittance unicorn, and have spent two decades between them working in emerging markets. Tom is a third-time founder having founded Hubble and P4SD.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager at Capi, you will play a crucial tactical role in our product development process. Working closely with engineering and commercial teams, you'll be responsible for day-to-day product execution and ensuring smooth delivery of our roadmap. This role focuses on turning strategic vision into actionable items while maintaining high standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Write detailed product specifications and manage the product backlog
* Manage and prioritise engineering tickets, liaising with relevant cross-functional teams to keep things moving at-pace
* Unblock engineers and facilitate efficient product development
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather and prioritize requirements
* Manage the execution of short-term product initiatives
* Work closely with the Head of Product on roadmap planning and prioritisation
* Ensure product decisions are backed by data and user feedback, working with our User Researcher
Requirements
* 3+ years relevant experience in an early stage/fast-paced start up
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience with product processes and product management fundamentals
* Are inherently a problem-solver; having a positive, solution-driven mindset across simultaneous projects and problems
* Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
* London based
Nice to Have
* French language skills
* Experience in fintech or payments
* Experience working with emerging markets
