Engagement & Communications Lead
Location: Leeds – Main Campus
Grade: Grade 6 Salary, £32,296 to £37,999 per annum
Working Time: 35 hours
Contract Type: Fixed Term (31 July 2025 – There is a need for temporary cover)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a passionate communicator who is inspired by the opportunities digital education can bring learners and educators? Are you ready to inspire others by partnering with stakeholders to get their message out there? Do you have experience creating simple, straightforward communications which will connect with a mix of audiences?
We are looking for a communications and engagement professional to work across our teams in the Digital Education Service to support on crafting key messages for both internal and external audiences. In this role, you will also work closely with external clients, playing a lead role in implementing engagement and communication strategies to support our online courses. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of project-specific and business-as-usual communication campaigns, working closely with Communication managers to ensure project deliverables are met on time and in budget. You will also have responsibility for contributing to ongoing communications via the Digital Education Service website and SharePoint.
