Job Title: Chef De Partie
A Chef de Partie with a passion for creating nourishing meals will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that inspire students at one of London's prestigious independent schools.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team, working closely with the Head Chef to oversee food preparation, production, and service. The successful candidate will possess excellent presentation, organisational, and communication skills, as well as a real passion for food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus that cater to dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines.
* Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet client expectations.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
* Maintain accurate stock control and ordering, minimizing waste while optimizing inventory levels.
* Support special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives, fostering a positive working environment through effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar role within contract catering or educational institutions preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
* Excellent multitasking and time management skills under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Salary and Benefits:
