This global management consultancy is looking for an eager, capable and confident 1 st jobber to join their operations team due to company growth. They are looking for someone to join as an Operations & Events Assistant and they will provide full training to anyone coming in. Duties will include: Operations Admin: Ongoing office management and maintenance as required (ongoing check of office facilities, arranging repairs etc. as required, accepting deliveries, ensuring office supplies are kept replenished e.g. stationery, office IT equipment, refreshments, printing and binding supplies, recycling collection bags etc.) General hospitality for visitors to the office (meeting them, offering refreshments) Managing office suppliers (e.g. IT support, security, cleaners, recycling, plants etc) Security key holder Meeting set-up support (booking meeting rooms and ensuring they are ready for external visitors) Ensuring offices and any supporting materials are set up for office days, training days, and other events Supporting with internal project administration (data migration, minute keeping, etc.) Producing reports as required to support the Ops team/ business Supporting in meetings and with meeting preparation as required e.g. the monthly Operations meeting Participating in Operations and IT processes e.g. setting up laptops and phones for new joiners Supporting with system administration as required e.g. maintaining accurate records Supporting consultants with ad hoc business requests and day-to-day assistance Helping resolve day-to-day issues (e.g. emergency IT support; resolving issues regarding the set-up of new accounts; chasing suppliers to resolve problems) Event Assistant: Support roll-out of external and internal events and insights calendar Project manage each event from concept through to delivery, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (sourcing venue through to event execution) Supporting event content creation and distribution (e.g. creating and sending email invites) Update the events platform with event details, insights and articles Run monthly insight report and publish internally, feeding back on trends Run email campaigns where applicable, and update CRM system with new contact details / bounce-backs etc. Monitor events email account and liaise with the Event Manager when required Send event comms when required Monitor event responses, keeping trackers up to date, escalating where necessary Attend events to support set up, registration and meet and greet guests Collate and review feedback post event and take learning for future events Support with LinkedIn posts and other marketing collateral following events (e.g. create articles from notes about the events) Monitor the events budget Events and event website subscription admin Whilst this is for a 1 st jobber it will require someone with some work experienced under their belt, whether internships, temp roles or summer jobs. Good MS Office skills, with knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus excellent written English and grammar skills, and strong verbal communications skills are key.
