Are you someone who thrives on creating meaningful experiences and making a difference in people's lives? Do you enjoy exploring new places, having a laugh, and being part of a supportive team? If so, we'd love for you to join our dedicated team!
Who Will I Be Supporting?
You'll be supporting four amazing individuals - two men and two women aged 40s-70s - who live with autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, and well-managed epilepsy. Each person has a unique personality and vibrant interests that make every day exciting:
1. Adventurous Spirits: They love sightseeing, visiting pubs, and going on holidays across the UK, Paris, and Dublin.
2. Creative Minds: Lego building, trains, and construction sites spark their creativity.
3. Music Lovers: With a passion for country and western music, they enjoy lively tunes and fun social activities.
4. Active Lifestyles: From hydropool sessions to football games, they're always up for an engaging activity.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping these individuals live life to the fullest. Your responsibilities include:
1. Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
2. Mobility Assistance: Help two gentlemen who use wheelchairs full-time and one lady who uses a wheelchair when out and about.
3. Activity Engagement: Join them on outings, plan new activities, and explore their interests together.
4. Hydropool Fun: Don't be afraid to dive in and support them during swimming sessions!
5. Promoting Independence: Encourage them to take part in everyday activities and celebrate their achievements.
Full training will be provided, so no matter your experience level, you'll be equipped to succeed.
