We’re currently seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead warehouse operations for the afternoon shift. The role involves optimizing safety, quality, and productivity whist meeting company targets. Responsibilities include efficient management, ensuring customer requirements are met, and maintaining industry standards.
Working hours: Mon – Thurs, 10.30 am – 9 pm.
Shift manager Benefits:

Shift manager Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
9. To ensure that material is received and despatched efficiently
10. To ensure Health & Safety Legislation is followed and safe working practises are encouraged
11. Assist in planning warehouse resource to ensure demands are met
12. Assist in Operations Department when required, dealing with in-coming material, delivery notes and test certificates
13. Assist QESH Manager in quality checks
14. Maintain and manage control of stock and traceability
Shift manager Skills & Key Competencies:
15. Good knowledge of Safe working practices and environmental administration experience
16. An understanding of, and can apply, modern manufacturing techniques including Lean manufacturing
17. Experience of the demands of leading a shift with limited contact time with direct supervisor, and can demonstrate excellence in maintaining the highest standards of safety, productivity and discipline
18. Experienced in Slinging & Crane Handling
19. Hold an up-to-date Fork-lift Truck Licence & Side loader Certificate
20. Practical knowledge of EHS, be able to conduct Risk Assessments, create Safe Working Practices
21. Ideally IOSH certified
