The Sr. Analyst, Fund Accounting will manage the Blackline (accounts reconciliation and task management) system for all brands in the UK and Europe, including working with the US team on implementation into new markets. The role will also work with the Senior Finance Manager on the testing of key internal controls under Sarbanes Oxley.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing Blackline system to ensure that all balance sheet entries are correctly mapped, changes to teams are updated and that the Blackline system users/access is compliant with Sarbanes Oxley.
2. Provide training for the team and work on process improvements to ensure maximum efficiency and automation in Blackline.
3. Working with the UK control team on the documentation of internal controls (including flow charts and test of design).
4. Testing Internal Controls as required, under Sarbanes Oxley.
5. Supporting internal, SOX, and external audits, as required.
6. Maintaining strong internal controls for Blackline system.
Requirements:
7. Qualified accountant or working towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
8. + years of experience in accounting and reporting, with experience of internal controls (particularly Sarbanes Oxley) welcomed.
9. Experience in an international company desirable
10. Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and development skills.
11. Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment.
12. Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
13. A team player with integrity and a sound work ethic.
14. Strong MS Excel skills and exposure to Blackline or similar systems welcomed.
15. Strong process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
