A growing business in central Guildford are looking for an Assistant Accountant for a 12 month maternity contract. This role is to support the finance team in the processing of the day to day finance function while supporting the wider business. This company offer hybrid working arrangements after training. Main duties include : Ownership of maintaining bank reconciliations daily Balance sheet overall monthly process. Key Finance contact including: Month end journals Deferred revenue Accruals Bad debt provision ARR reporting Ensuring billing is correct for new customers and any changes to existing customers Support with the maintenance of the Accounts inbox to ensure customer queries are responded to and resolved on a timely basis Audit support and request completion Documentation of Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) for all owned processes The ideal candidate will have : Experience with bank reconciling/matching Invoice and credit note generation experience Key desirable skills : Xero NetSuite GoCardless Stripe Online banking Thrived in a fast paced environment Enjoy making an impact by improving processes NetSuite - highly desirable Strong excel skills A team player The company offer free parking and pension contributions, 25 days holiday plus BH.
