The CDM Principal Designer Role
As a CDM Principal Designer, you will be at the forefront of guiding clients through the complexities of the CDM regulations. You'll lead meetings, provide expert advice, and ensure the highest standards of health and safety compliance across a variety of stimulating and impactful projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Advisory: Deliver confident, expert advice to clients, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations across multiple sectors.
2. Principal Designer Role: Autonomously manage the Principal Designer responsibilities, collaborating effectively with the team to ensure seamless project delivery.
3. Compliance and Safety: Rigorously enforce health and safety regulations on all projects, mitigating risks and enhancing safety standards.
The Ideal CDM Principal Designer Will Have:
4. Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction (required), Tech IOSH (minimum), APS membership (preferred), Degree in Architecture or Engineering (preferred).
5. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in CDM roles.
6. Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
