Researcher Positions in Probabilistic Machine Learning: Research Fellow, Postdoc, and PhD Student
The Manchester Centre for AI Fundamentals has researcher positions open at several levels: Research Fellow, Postdoc, and Postgraduate Research Student (funded). Deadline: June 30, 2022.
We are hiring researchers for our team working on probabilistic machine learning. Keywords include: Bayesian inference, reinforcement learning, inverse reinforcement learning, automatic experimental design, multi-agent learning, Bayesian deep learning, amortized inference, human-in-the-loop learning, user modelling, collaborative AI, privacy-preserving learning, and likelihood-free inference. Different researchers will work on various but related subsets of these topics. The work is funded by the UKRI Turing AI World-Leading Researcher Fellowship programme, focusing on “Steering AI in Experimental Design and Decision-Making.”
The team is based in the new Manchester Centre for AI Fundamentals, which builds on the ELLIS Unit Manchester and the Alan Turing Institute. We collaborate with excellent teams in various fields, both in academia and industry, providing application opportunities for those interested in personalized medicine, especially for cancer and remote medicine; synthetic biology; and digital twins, among others.
Now is the time to join the University of Manchester as it significantly boosts its activities in Machine Learning!
