Role Responsibilities:
As a SEND/Mental Health Support Assistant, your role will include:
* Supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs to engage in classroom activities and thrive in their learning environment.
* Assisting with behavioral management and promoting emotional well-being for students with mental health challenges or additional needs.
* Helping to implement individualized strategies and interventions, ensuring that each student can participate fully in their education.
* Encouraging social and emotional development to build confidence and positive peer interactions.
* Providing support to teachers and SEND staff, helping to deliver tailored learning plans for students.
* Monitoring and tracking students’ progress to identify any additional support needed.
* Fostering a safe and inclusive environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
