Job Description: Logistics Planner
I am seeking a Logistics Planner for my client based at their head office in Glasgow. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimising all tanker service activities, ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves strategic planning, problem-solving, and close collaboration with various depots. It will include effective route planning and regular vehicle maintenance checks which are a crucial part of the role.
Skills Required:
1. Previous experience in a Logistics Planner role
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Excellent organizational and time management abilities
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
