Axcis Education is currently seeking a Mental Health Mentor to provide invaluable assistance to a Year 8 child currently attending a large mainstream secondary school as part of their SEND provision, located in St Helens.
Role: Mental Health Mentor - Teaching Assistant
Location: St Helens (Easily accessible via public transport)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
1. Providing 1:1 support to a child in Key Stages 3 (Year 8) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Payrate:
From £13 per hour
Requirements:
1. Experience supporting mental health and behavioural needs
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service - we can support with this if you do not have one already.
3. Experience supporting children in a classroom setting or similar
