Business Change Project Manager Needed!
I am currently supporting one of our Banking clients who are looking to bring on a Project Manager on an initial 6-month contract with scope for extensions. You will be required to go into the Bristol-based office 2 days a week. My client can pay up to £550 per day via an umbrella for the right candidate.
Main Purpose: The Business Change Project Manager will work with teams across the group to coordinate changes, focusing on business and technology changes, with an emphasis on interpersonal and business change skills.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Identify when support is required from a team not based within the programme's immediate structure.
2. Engage teams to agree on the changes required, formalize dependencies, obtain costs, and delivery plans.
3. Provide support to the Product Owner, including completion of required governance.
4. Maintain relationships with stakeholders involved in change.
5. Update and maintain JIRA & Confluence boards.
6. Coordinate change governance and engagement with inbound change gateways.
7. Identify blockers to delivery and where possible mitigate/resolves, escalating to product owner(s) and lab leadership where required.
8. Act as an interface between the supplier (3rd Party) and key business stakeholders.
9. Manage complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.
Experience & Skills:
1. Managing Business Changes with various cross-site Operational teams.
2. Running workshops to create end-to-end delivery plans, identifying the cross-team dependencies, timelines, and delivery risks.
3. Conducting impact assessments.
4. Presenting changes to forums and gateways, with the ability to discuss a change in detail and manage any follow-up queries with stakeholders.
5. JIRA & Confluence skills.
6. Experience in Payment flow redesign, financial services projects, and internal bank account changes.
7. Previous experience with systems including CAP, rCBS & Common System would be nice but not essential.
8. Working closely with Business Analysts to document an 'As-Is' process and agree on the required 'To Be'.
