Aon is currently recruiting an MD Analytics to join our team in London. The MD Analytics will be primarily responsible for reporting to the Global Chief Operating Officer for Analytics. The successful candidate will be accountable for accelerating the development and execution of strategic global initiatives enabling differentiated outcomes for Aon.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate an understanding of business needs, develop strong stakeholder and client relationships, and balance local with global requirements. Working in collaboration with key stakeholders will be key to success. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

About the Role
Your impact as an MD Analytics:
1. Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.
About You
Your knowledge and expertise:
1. Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to determine and prioritize analytics strategies.
2. Key member of the global working group focused on developing a Next Generation Event Response Platform which will differentiate Aon in the market.
3. Responsibility for the successful development and deployment of an Industry Exposure Database.
4. Provide support around Cat Modelling integration.
5. Detailed understanding of catastrophe modelling and portfolio aggregation. Direct usage of vendor models (such as Impact Forecasting, RMS, and Verisk) would be a distinct advantage.
6. Knowledge of market requirements around event response with a focus on both the hazard and vulnerability.
7. A commercial mind-set with the ability to balance strategic needs with delivering operational objectives.
