Contract - FTC 5 months
Shift pattern: 12-hour night shift, 10pm until 10am, 4 on 4 off pattern - £13.80p/h between 10pm and 06:00 (night shift) and £12p/h between 06:00 and 10am

About the role
Boots UK, a leading health and beauty retailer, is looking for dedicated Reach Truck drivers to join our dynamic night shift team at our Burton on Trent distribution centre. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, we pride ourselves on being an integral part of the supply chain that keeps our stores fully stocked and running smoothly.
You will be a key part of our nights structure, ensuring all stock is stored efficiently and pick locations set up in readiness for the following shift. You will report into the Team Leader, who then reports into a Nights manager
· Safely and efficiently operate a high-level reach truck to transport products within the warehouse.
· Accurately pick and place products in designated storage locations.
· Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance needs.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Assist in stocktaking and inventory management.- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
What you’ll need to have
· Valid reach truck license/certification
· Experience operating a reach truck in a fast paced, busy warehouse environment.
· Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication skills
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
· Flexible to changing priorities and tasks.
It would be great if you also have
· Other MHE licences – e.g., VNA or Counterbalance license.
· Experience using handheld/truck mounted warehouse management systems,
