Operations Manager - South West - Exeter
Our Lounge Operations Managers play a pivotal role in the success of our business. Working alongside an Operations Chef, you will manage an area of approximately 10 Lounges across North Somerset and Devon, remaining close to our teams and our customers every day.

You will be responsible for spotting amazing talent, celebrating success, creating a real buzz and a sense of belonging for our team, plus developing great managers and leaders through training, coaching, and mentoring.
The day to day...
* Relentlessly on the hunt to find great talent to join your Lounges at all levels, focusing on building a high-performing and loyal team of Lounge HODs across your sites.
* Ensuring the culture of our Loungers is welcoming, fun, and vibrant, creating a home from home for our customers and team every hour of every day.
* Getting the best out of your team by understanding what makes them tick as individuals, ensuring clear priorities and fostering a strong culture of honest two-way feedback.
* Developing your management/leadership team through clear development plans and providing opportunities to enhance their skills.
* Planning and executing shifts across every site daily, ensuring the right people are scheduled and backup plans are in place.
* Ensuring that sites and management teams are delivering on our unique Loungers' Commitments.
* Frequent site visits to engage with service, train, and coach kitchen teams.
* Overseeing all operational aspects for your Lounge cafes/bars, being exceptionally close to the detail of your Lounges.
* Adding your unique footprint and personality to your role and Lounges while adhering to our cause.
* Engaging with the community through outreach activities and social media, ensuring a sense of belonging.
* Being prepared to work alongside kitchen teams, maintaining high standards of hospitality.
* Delivering on Ops Manager expectations, including timely rota submissions and stock management.
* Collaborating with your Ops peer group to input into key decisions based on your understanding of the businesses.
* Feeding new ideas to your Regional Operations Manager for continuous improvement.
* Working in partnership with your Ops Chef to ensure alignment on priorities.
* Reporting on all aspects of site performance, including P&Ls and team performance.
* Delivering on key performance indicators, from customer wait times to EBITDA.

Where Are You Now?
* You are likely a GM, Operations Manager, or Area/Regional Manager in bars, restaurants, or cafes.
* You have multi-site hospitality experience.
* You balance management with hands-on involvement in service.
* You have experience in senior leadership roles with large teams.
* You are familiar with managing KPIs and making commercial decisions.
* Your ambition drives you to improve every day.
* You may have experience in either front of house or back of house roles.
* You manage competing priorities effectively.
