Our client is an established MSP providing in-house IT Services and rapid response IT Support to companies across Doncaster and the surrounding areas. Due to business growth, they are looking to add a 2nd Line / 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have the experience, skills, and personality to thrive in this new role.
Ideal experience will cover:
1. Microsoft 365 Services
2. Azure Services
3. Windows Virtual Desktop
4. Intune
5. Firewall Configuration
6. Hyper and Vmware Infrastructure
7. Solid knowledge of networking technologies and concepts such as LAN/WAN, DHCP, etc.
8. Experience in providing customer service and building and maintaining customer relationships.
9. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.
10. Willingness to adapt and learn new software and programs.
11. Good time-keeping and organisational skills.
12. Problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to identify areas for improvement and execute projects.
14. Reliable and punctual.
15. Driving licence to visit clients within a one-hour radius of Doncaster.
Main duties of this role include:
1. Provide remote technical support via email and telephone to end users, diagnosing and resolving operational problems and queries quickly.
2. Implement MS365 and networking solutions for client and internal projects.
3. Onsite support and installation of hardware and software.
4. Specify, recommend, provide, configure, and implement various equipment such as desktops, servers, printers, etc., according to client requirements.
5. Produce standard configurations, documentation, and procedures.
6. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the company and client services.
7. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
8. Liaise with 3rd party vendors and suppliers on behalf of clients.
9. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and PowerApps, is advantageous but not essential.
