We have a fantastic opportunity for a CAD Technician join our team based nationally with flexible working. This is a full time, permanent position. The salary on offer is up to 32,000 per annum. About the role: A CAD Technician is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They work closely with engineers and architects to produce accurate and precise drawings for construction and manufacturing projects. CAD Technicians must have a strong understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as proficiency in CAD software and drafting techniques. Reporting directly to the Information Management Lead, CAD Technicians will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, improvement and expansion of our CAD property library. Working closely with estate managers within their region and other key stakeholders throughout the business, they will demonstrate the technical, organisational, and communication skills necessary to carry out amendments to our occupancy & lease boundary records, and maintain drawing content related to survey data capturing maintainable critical assets, asbestos presence and fire containment infrastructure. What you will bring to the role: Min. 2 years professional experience in an AutoCAD-based drafting environment. Working to defined CAD standards. Experience in implementing information management process, document control and revisioning procedures. Carrying out site surveys. Working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and associated workflows and processes. Experience in 3D modelling including Autodesk Revit is not required but may be beneficial.
