You will be required to:
* Actively participate and supervise the delivery of high-quality care ensuring dignity, respect, choice, and independence are met and person-centred care delivered.
* Build good trustworthy relationships with residents, staff, families, and friends.
* Administer prescribed medications to residents in a safe way ensuring that the Home’s medication policy and procedures are followed.
* Complete documentation in care plans.
* Monitor staff and report any concerns to the manager.
* Attend meetings and training sessions.
* Participate in appraisals and supervisions.
* Assist with personal care.
* Be a team leader but able to work on your own initiative.
* Attend mandatory training to ensure that practice is safe and updated.
* Attend staff meetings.
* Adhere to the home’s policies and procedures that support the CQC fundamental standards and guidelines.

Essential details:
Ideally, both experience in a care environment and an NVQ 3 in care, although we will consider people with an NVQ 2 who are willing to undertake the NVQ 3. Medication training is essential, as well as a genuine desire to develop a career in this field.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a dedicated team are required.
A respectful, courteous, and compassionate nature along with a belief in giving your personal best at all times and striving for continuous improvement are essential.
