About the opportunity
As Senior Digital Designer, you will lead our teams on all things design and UX for our E-Commerce sites. You will actively lead your team across business as usual design briefs & projects, monitor competitor activity & design industry landscape, and readily identify new opportunities to drive change and evolution within No7 Beauty Company. You will work collaboratively with partners to translate projects into viable UX solutions and deliver timely & accurate visuals that meet our Brand & Trading requirements, compatible with the underlying technologies of our E-Commerce sites.
1. Lead the development of our UX journeys alongside our Development partners, translating both user and business projects into viable solutions. Review options, constraints & impacts of change accordingly.
2. Illustrate and produce high fidelity responsive designs, asset creation, user flows, wireframes & concept development across all digital design deliverables, building UI mock ups to illustrate interactivity.
3. Act as sponsor for our varying web and marketing technologies including third-party, working with our Development, IT, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce teams to ensure solutions are compatible with our ecosystem.
4. Act as sponsor, alongside Digital Marketing Manager, for the brand visual identity, ensuring consistent adoption and implementation as well as regularly sharing feedback with our Global Brand partners.
5. Oversee the development of the design and build of best digital assets following our Brand & Trading calendar, for on & off-site channels including Paid Social & Email.
6. Act as single point of expertise for our design technologies & software, including early adoption and scouting for new opportunities including AI.
7. Lead the Design team of 2, guiding their personal development plans & upskilling, as well as utilising internal tools for workload prioritisation & assignment.
8. Ensure E-Commerce UX/UI best practices are in place and evolved across all team deliverables. Partner with the broader team on testing opportunities to fuel Design learning and optimisations for continued bettering of assets.
What you’ll need to have
1. Experience with Design and creative execution that will be demonstrated daily, with a constant evolution mindset alongside a desire to share knowledge to upskill others.
2. Extensive experience with a variety of design software & wireframe tools, such as Adobe Suite, Azure or similar.
3. Experience with management and utilisation of productivity technologies to manage briefing & prioritisation amongst team such as Adobe Workfront.
4. Ability to translate business requirements & briefs into accurate, practical web and design solutions, with proven experience of working cross-functionally across Marketing, IT and Development.
5. Strong partner management skills with ability to influence and advise both direct & partner teams, relying on clear & timely communication.
6. A self-starter, looking to take ownership of the role.
7. Excel in a fast-paced, reactive environment with the ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines in line with both business needs as well as the ever-moving commerce sphere.
