We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Scientist to lead our specialist Haemostasis laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily laboratory functions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance, and overseeing the supervision of laboratory staff. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovative research and development initiatives, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Your role will involve not only the interpretation and validation of complex test results but also the implementation of best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols., To manage and lead scientific operations of the Specialist Haemostasis Laboratory
To provide highly specialised haemostasis investigations to CUH and surrounding trusts including comprehensive clinical and scientific advice to Medical and other healthcare professionals and to maintain an area of highly specialised knowledge and take responsibility for provision of scientific services in that area, acting as an expert in that field.
To be considered for this position, you should hold HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist, along with extensive experience in haemostasis. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring junior staff.
