We’re seeking an Education Programme Coordinator to provide a broad range of business and administrative support to Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education within the Workforce Training and Education (WT&E) team working in the Wessex Local Office, based in Southampton and covering Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight and Salisbury in the South East Region.
The post-holder will be a key member of the team whose overarching goal will be to support the delivery of an essential workforce programme. The role will primarily support the medical and dental training programmes at an exciting time to be involved in the changes that are happening in medical education nationally.
The successful candidate willwork with the Education Programme Manager and colleagues in the team to support the operational delivery of medical and dental education programmes including national recruitment, programme management, and to implement successful delivery of assessments, Annual Review of Competency Progression (ARCP), rotations (training placements) Out of Programme (OOP), Inter Deanery Transfers (IDT) Less than Full Time Training (LTFT) throughout a learner's journey.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. In addition, they must have excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work.
This is a fast-paced operational role with a requirement to be in our Southampton office two days a week.
