Role: Office Manager
Location: Bristol
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 – no weekends or evenings
Experienced Required: A natural leader with expereince in Optics and a track history in Management.
Role Overview
To assist the Business partners and store leadership team in the business operations in order to achieve excellent customer service standards, financial goals and business objectives.
About the Role
* Ensure the leadership vision in the business is in line with Specsavers Vision and Values.
* Utilise reports and management information in relation to Key Performance Indicators.
* Agree and set relevant performance targets for optical assistants, ophthalmic opticians and support office workers in conjunction with the management team.
* Understand and motivate colleagues to get results.
* Understand and implement the highest standards.
* Plan and implement improvements to the business.
* Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
* Understand employment law and manage staff performance accordingly.
* Create a culture of “Customer First” to deliver exceptional service first time, every time.
* Run regular staff meetings and performance update
Objectives
* Customer excellence results, including MAZE and mystery shopper results.
* Consistent positive feedback from customers.
* Ensure all business objectives are met or exceeded.
* In conjunction with the management team the business has the right people in the right place at the right time, through efficient and well-planned testing days (balance of Standard, Piggy and Z) and delivery days alongside properly organised back-office operations
* All staff are managed effectively and supported with their own learning and development.
* Understand, adapt and develop your own management style to ensure your own personal development.
* Cash, till and NHS debtor management is in place and accurate.
* Support the management team and directors to create a positive and energetic team environment.
* Be a role model within the store so that everyone feels valued, they give their best, enjoy their job and contribute to running a superb business.
* Live the values and behaviours – lead by example, make it happen and celebrate success.
* Help people understand their role and development plan, what’s expected and how they fit in the bigger picture.
* Meet and exceed all personal and team goals, be an ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.
