Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team at ABC Teachers. We work with well-regarded secondary schools in and around the Stourbridge and local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities. Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical skills and foster a love for music. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, performances, and music clubs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a creative and inclusive music curriculum. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in music education and integrate them into your teaching practice. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Music or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Proven experience teaching music at the secondary level. Strong knowledge of the UK music curriculum. Ability to play and teach a range of musical instruments is desirable. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Personal Attributes: A genuine passion for music and teaching. Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities. Strong commitment to student achievement and progress. Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
