Role: Lead Clinical Pharmacist Site: The Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood, London Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Shift times: 9am-5.30pm with on-call and weekend requirements Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive depending on experience with excellent benefits We’re looking for a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding” by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital covers a number of specialist units including ICU Gynaecology CCU/HDU, Cardiac Treatment and Digestive Health. Joining this team can give you experience and exposure to these different areas and experts within these fields. The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, safe and effective pharmacy service. They will provide leadership across dispensary services, inpatient and outpatients and also the team. You will also be required to train junior pharmacists and liaise with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure we are providing a 5 star patient experience. Job Responsibilities: As a key member of the Pharmacy Senior Management Team, you will help develop and contribute towards the department objectives and assist with operational and governance matters. The post-holder will maintain and develop the highest standards of patient-focused care, supporting safe and effective use of medicines. You will be encouraged to use a growth mindset alongside your experience to proactively move the service forwards. The post-holder will line manage members of the Pharmacy team. You will work with other multidisciplinary team colleagues in a range of quality/process improvement project groups. The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Pharmacy Manager to represent the pharmacy across both North and South sites. corporately and externally. What you’ll bring: Registered with GPhC Post graduate Diploma/Masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent Specialist knowledge in surgical and medical pharmacy Extensive Clinical experience Experience working within a hospital setting Previous management experience and ability to demonstrate leadership skills Why HCA UK?
