To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:
Your Mission
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base, developing strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the food industry.
What you will do
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Achieve sales targets and objectives.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
* Attend customer audits, factory visits and proactively engage in the organisation of Seminars and off-site customer events; including attendance at food shows and exhibitions as required.
* Regularly visit current and prospective customers sites.
* Represent and advocate for the company and its values.
What we expect from you
The ideal candidate would have:
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food industry.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or relevant professional experience.
What you can expect from Puratos
* £42,000 per annum.
* Core hours will be 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00.
* Hybrid working available (maximum of two days working from home per week).
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
