Operating as part of the College Services Administration team, it is your role to provide specialist administration and advice to support our curriculum teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all planned timetables and teaching hours are prepared and executed in an effective and audit-compliant way, and you will work closely with the Timetabling Compliance Senior Coordinator to ensure that teaching rooms are utilised effectively to meet the needs of the college.
You will be interpreting formal documents, so you will need significant experience using multiple IT and Database systems and be able to work with minimal supervision and have an eye for accuracy. You will take ownership and responsibility for the day-to-day enquiries (via email or telephone) and college administration tasks, taking a flexible and innovative approach, while working effectively as a team and liaising with colleagues either remotely or in person, at all levels of South Devon College.
You will also actively participate in the College Administration Services weekly training programme, to ensure that the team receive a standardised level of training, knowledge and skills.
The successful candidate will need to hold GCSE English and Maths qualifications (minimum grade c/4 or equivalent) and hold a business administration or IT based qualification(s). We are looking for someone with experience working in an administration role, having knowledge of using data systems and IT/Database systems.
