Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust
If you have highly effective secretarial and organisational skills, there is an opportunity to join the Rheumatology team as a medical secretary supporting the Rheumatology Consultants and their teams.
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and the medical teams. Previous secretarial experience is essential, with excellent typing skills; medical terminology is desirable but not essential. This is a busy department; therefore, the ability to "think on your feet" and to remain calm would be an asset. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and willing to work as part of our busy but supportive team.
If you think you have the qualities to fill this post, then we would like to hear from you. Training and support will be given to the successful candidate. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day.
Main duties of the job
To provide full and comprehensive secretarial support to Consultant Rheumatologists and the clinical team within the Department of Rheumatology. To provide a central point of communication for patients, other hospital departments, GPs, and outside agencies.
