An internationally recognised brand name is looking to recruit a Credit Control Assistant to join a busy and diverse team on a permanent basis in Wokingham. This role is responsible for managing all UK and European accounts, ensuring that company payment terms are met and supporting the overall profitability of the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate account records and resolving payment issues efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities Proactively chase outstanding payments by telephone and email in line with company policies Reconcile customer accounts and manage direct debit processing across multiple countries Liaise with internal teams and sales representatives to resolve payment queries promptly Conduct credit checks, assess credit limits, and communicate with credit insurers when required Requirements Previous experience in a credit control or similar finance role Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner IT literate with good Excel experience Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Park Street People Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
