Change and Communication Manager
The Change & Communication Manager is a key role for MM Flowers during an exciting time of change, transformation, and enablement of future business critical projects.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the MM Flowers team successfully delivers on its ambitious change agenda, driving sustained awareness, engagement, and commitment to the transformation at all levels and across all functions of the business.
The transformation will create significant change within MM Flowers and this role is responsible for devising, leading, and executing the change and communication strategy to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged; employees understand the part their role and function play in ensuring that change is successful; and how their personal and team objectives align with our business strategy and the digital transformation outcomes.
The role will utilise a variety of methodologies, tools, and approaches to ensure that Digital Transformation at MM Flowers is recognised by a clear and consistent voice in the organisation that will deliver and enhance business outcomes and multiply the value of the change. It will also listen to feedback throughout the change journey and respond accordingly.
The change and communication strategy and its deliverables will be robustly measured and continuously reviewed to ensure success; with flexibility to adapt and course-correct as required.

Daily Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the CIO, GLT and digital transformation project team to create and manage the change and communication workstream to drive positive engagement across the business.
2. Partner with the GLT to communicate strong top-down sponsorship and commitment to Digital Transformation at all opportunities.
3. Facilitate the delivery of regular business updates which demonstrate how digital transformation enables the business strategy e.g. Cascades, Senior Leaders meetings, and quarterly/monthly communication opportunities.
4. Ensure that all communications are customised for individual functions.
5. Understand the organisational readiness for change and ensure that the strategy is built based on the data collected. Own the change management strategy including the design and execution to ensure successful delivery of digital transformation.
6. Deliver creative and impactful messages both written and visual, that cut through the ‘noise’ of ongoing business communications.
7. Ensure rigour and focus on external communication and engage customers and suppliers with planning for change.
8. Develop and ensure adoption of channels for our people to feedback and contribute to shaping our future ways of working e.g. focus groups/surveys.
9. Work with Business Process Managers, and the wider team to ensure that their business outcomes are understood; inspiring stakeholders by envisioning an improved future state and sharing that vision loudly to ensure it “lands” across the organisation.
10. Understand and communicate employees’ expectations about how their roles will interact with the project and what support they need to provide and can expect in return.
11. Manage ‘change fatigue’ within the organisation by understanding, hearing, and playing back frustrations and challenges throughout the project, and responding to employee feedback.
12. Support the project team to successfully integrate change into ‘business as usual’ (BAU) through effective communication and engagement.
13. Partner with HR and Senior Leaders, to review and reorganise team roles and responsibilities to ensure the MM Flowers’ OD is ‘fit for future’ as project deliverables are achieved.
14. Partner with L&D to create and deliver inspirational training and development plans, specific to functions and roles which deliver against identified training needs to drive improved capabilities, confidence, and competence.
What you can already do
1. Prosci or similar accreditation (to be achieved).
2. Experience in driving change programmes during ERP and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
3. Experience and knowledge of applying change management principles and methodologies.
