We are currently looking for a Reservations Manager to join our Truly Talented team at Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell. Reporting to the General Manager, you will liaise regularly with the commercial team, and Axiom Hospitality Central Office.

Your Role:
Responsibilities of Reservations Manager will include but are not limited to:
* Able to assist with and work to set and clear objectives to ensure key milestones are exceeded collectively within the event/sales department;
* Understand client's requirements and effectively handle sales enquiries and bookings;
* Able to effectively assist in the follow up of potential sales leads and future business opportunities;
* Assist with contract completion;
* Computer literate (Microsoft applications), training will be provided for the hotel reservation management system;
* Strong administration skills with great planning skills and a good eye for detail is essential;
* Good management of group bookings.
The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.
The core skills and experience required to succeed:
To succeed in the role of Reservations Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.
* You will have carried out reservations or reception duties;
* Review and respond to e-mails and ensure shift task lists are completed to a high standard;
* Ensure that the brand promise is fully and consistently delivered within the hotels day to day operation;
* Manage shift/daily banking for credit/debit cards, cash and cheques, in accordance with company policies;
* Knowledge of revenue management;
* A very organised and structured individual.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
