Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our People and Culture Directorate as Practice Education Facilitator. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who thrives working autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to travel frequently within the Dorset area and Bournemouth University. This is a highly visible role within learning and development, providing practice placement education and support to ensure high quality, safe student placement is achieved. The successful candidate will need to be confident in taking a lead role and working with minimal supervision, and will demonstrate resilience, adaptability and a commitment to promoting synergy and productivity within the team. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for ensuring students are prepared for placement before entering into SWASfT and for supporting/guiding/point of contact for practice educators (PE's), and for ensuring PE's are prepared, updated and supported in collaboration with the SWASfT CPD team and academic program leads. You will support and achieve local practice placement priorities and NHS England (formally Health Education England) Key performance Indicators (KPIs), and support the Practice Education Team (PET) Team in identifying and co-ordinating the placement of university degree students in various settings across the organisation to support practice-based learning and the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become a confident and competent registered Paramedics at completion of their academic programme.
