Cardiff University will have a stand on the Maes at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Port Talbot (May) and at the National Eisteddfod in Wrexham (August) in 2025.
The Dental school will run activities at the Cardiff University stand for interactive engagement with the public, which is an important space for student recruitment into the Dental Profession. We are looking for Welsh speaking BDS/DTH DENTAL Student Ambassadors to assist with the running of the Dental stand. As part of this role, students will be required to interact with the public (adults and children) and:
* provide advice where required in a professional manner, referring complex enquiries to relevant staff members.
* give demonstrations and supervision of activities such as dental impression taking/charting on phantom heads and simple fillings on plastic teeth.
Eisteddfod Genedlaethol, Wrexham - Monday 4th of August OR Tuesday 5th of August 2025.
Aligning with Cardiff University’s Welsh Language Strategy - Yr Alwad / Embrace it, and expectation to support the biggest and most significant Welsh medium events in Wales to promote the Dental Profession.
