About The Role As a QA Engineer you will be required to assist the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring products and services meet established quality standards analysing, and documenting processes throughout the development lifecycle, identifying defects early on, and collaborating with teams to implement improvements, ultimately aiming to prevent quality issues from occurring in the final product. Key Requirements Background in quality assurance, or senior quality role, ideally in a metals / machining environment. Good understanding and experience of working with and auditing of ISO 9001 and AS9100 systems (preferred). Structured, disciplined and self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team or lead a team. Flexible, proactive and assertive approach in addition to strong organisational and prioritisation skills, whilst able to perform within tight deadlines. Good oral and written communication skills.
