Our Digital Business Services teams are the foundation of HSBC, providing essential support across technology, operations and key central business services for our global businesses and functions. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Third Party Engagement Manager.
In this role, you will:
* Supplier Management:Oversee third-party engagement activities, including supplier due diligence, service level monitoring, and performance improvements.
* Risk & Compliance:Assess and manage operational risks associated with vendors, ensuring compliance with risk frameworks and control testing.
* Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and effective challenge when necessary.
* Governance & Reporting:Prepare governance materials, develop management information (MI) for senior stakeholders, and represent the team at governance forums.
* Process Oversight:Ensure all pre- and post-contract tasks align with risk assessments, working closely with risk domain teams (cyber security, data privacy, regulatory compliance, procurement, etc.).
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Third Party Risk Management: Experience in managing third party relationships including any activities to identify, assess and remediate any risk associated with onboarding a third party, and the ongoing management of activities throughout the term of the contract.
* Vendor Management Skills:Ability to assess supplier performance, manage service improvements, and oversee supplier governance.
* Strong Analytical Abilities:Experience developing and translating management information (MI) for senior stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Management:Ability to engage with multiple teams, including procurement, risk, compliance functions, and consultancy vendors.
* Analytical Skills: Hands on experience with excel and analysing data, in addition to risk management.
