Facilities and Maintenance Manager £45000 excellent benefits Hailsham - office based This role is taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations on site for an education organisation. Leading a team to carry out all aspects of reactive maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance and small refurbishment works. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating across both sites from planning and budgeting to resource allocation and quality control. You will be responsible for the following areas: Planned Maintenance and small projects: Working to an agreed 5-year maintenance schedule of works Planned Maintenance Service delivery: Manage the day-to day reactive and planned preventative maintenance schedules so that all buildings, delivery standards and service level agreements (SLA's), are met. Emergency Maintenance Delivery: To manage a 365 day a year emergency service, including an out-of-hours service for emergency repairs. Site security/Porterage & Housekeeping: Working closely with the Security Manager and Housekeeping Manager to ensure both teams provide effective site security & Housekeeping Services. Budget management: To work with the Director of Estates to compile budgets and forecast for the planned maintenance. Staff Management and training: To lead, develop, performance manage and train all staff within areas of responsibility. Systems and administrative records: To work closely with the Data and Compliance Assistant to ensure that the Estate database is working correctly and efficiently.
