We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee spare parts operations for machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, extensive experience in managing spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and procure spare parts from reliable suppliers while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
* Ensure timely and efficient delivery of spare parts to customers, optimizing logistics and supply processes.
* Provide exceptional customer support, addressing queries and concerns related to spare parts.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for department performance and address any deficiencies.
* Ensure effective processes for parts order entry, quoting, returns, and invoicing.
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
* Manage staffing and employee development activities for team members under this role.
* Develop and maintain standard reports on aftermarket activities, tracking performance and improvements.
* Maintain e-commerce accounts and actively monitor online activity, including discounts, promotions, and market demand.
* Work closely with other departments to address issues, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
* Identify obsolete stock and collaborate with other departments to capture new parts requirements, ensuring continuous improvement.
Your Profile
* Experience in spare parts management within the machinery industry, with deep knowledge of relevant parts and systems.
* Proven ability to motivate, manage, and develop a team effectively.
* Strong dedication to delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
* Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage workflow and solve complex issues efficiently.
* Good understanding of mechanical components and repairs associated with machinery.
* Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and Syncron is a plus.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
