Business Development Specialist - NHS

As we scale up, we’re looking for a driven Business Development Executive who understands the NHS landscape and can help us build strong, value-driven relationships across Trusts and healthcare organisations.
We're Hiring: Business Development Executive | Flexzo.ai
Location: Hybrid (Milton Keynes-based preferred) | Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive base + commission + performance bonuses
About the Role
This is a high-impact role for a confident and strategic B2B sales professional who knows how to navigate NHS structures. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, leading client conversations, and managing the full sales cycle — with support from a passionate, agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, approach and convert NHS decision-makers across relevant departments (e.g. service managers, HR teams, ops leads)
* Present and demonstrate our SaaS platforms to prospects both virtually and in person
* Develop proposals, respond to tenders, and help scope tailored solutions
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to feed back market insight and help refine messaging
* Represent Flexzo.ai at conferences, client meetings, and industry events
Requirements:
* Proven experience in SaaS sales into the NHS
OR
* Experience in NHS staffing (e.g. agency side, service delivery, or workforce planning roles)
* A strong understanding of NHS procurement cycles, pain points, and decision-making processes
* Confident communicator and relationship builder at all levels
* Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, scaling environment
* Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and digital sales platforms
Bonus Points:
* Experience selling compliance, workforce or rota management platforms
* Existing NHS client network
* Experience working in a startup or scale-up
