Job Description
* Drive HR policies and procedures within the retail team
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge on employment legislation and ensure compliance within the company
* Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and training processes
* Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
* Assist in developing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals
* Compile and update employee records for future references
* Promote equality and diversity as part of the company's culture
* Coordinate employee performance review procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Coordinator should have:
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
* Proficiency in HR software and databases
* Strong understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Adept at conflict resolution and problem-solving
* Ability to handle data with confidentiality
* Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
* Demonstrable leadership abilities
