About the Role
As part of the Resorts leadership team, you will manage both internal teams and external service providers to ensure planned and reactive works are completed to the highest standards across all facilities at the resort, including entertainment venues, pools, restaurants, rides, and landscape areas.
The resort spans over 300 acres with an annual repairs and maintenance budget of approximately GBP 3m.
This role requires coordination and control to deliver a prompt, efficient, and high-quality service, ensuring compliance with all current statutory legislations while actively implementing processes and procedures for improvements.
You should advocate for your team's fulfillment at work, conducting regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's. You will manage your budget closely, driving your team to deliver KPIs based on sales and costs in line with our business plan and reviewing this regularly to identify areas of opportunity and risk. This will also involve working closely with our Operational Teams to project guest demand and team requirements accordingly.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Head of Facilities or Senior Facilities Manager with excellent operational knowledge in hard facilities management across a range of specialisms. You should have a credible background in a similar M&E infrastructure environment, leading large teams capable of managing the day-to-day running of a busy resort.
You must possess the ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during periods of high demand. Additionally, you will have the capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements. With a mixture of permanent team members and contractors, delivering excellent standards is paramount.
With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results for our teams and guests every day.
