Education:Ideally degree educated but commercial experience is first and foremostQualifications: AnyIndustry:EducationRole: The Multimedia Promotions Assistant is responsible for the management of all multimedia activities to promote the organisation effectively. Through managing and undertaking audio/video production of the highest level, they will take the profile onto the next level, ensuring a standout brand and complete synergy with the ethos, values and strategic aims. The person appointed will be critical to the successful delivery of the promotions strategy and will require regular liaison with the wider staff team.Responsibilities:
* Establishing a comprehensive multimedia strategy to support the wider aims of the organisation
* Create and edit audio and video for a range of productions including features, social media messages, talking heads, interviews, and promotional videos
* Ensure appropriate quality control systems are in place and followed to ensure accuracy and high production standards
* Keep audio/visual kit in good order, ensure supplies are procured in a timely manner, keep up-to-date records, ensure the smooth operation and interface with the wider team
* Make recommendations for continuous improvement as regards sound, lighting and camera operations
* To ensure digital activities are constantly updated, are kept relevant and appropriate and are used effectively to maintain communication and drive engagement with stakeholders
* To work with the Digital Promotions Assistant to drive all our social media platforms so that best practice is followed and new opportunities are sought out and developed where appropriate
* To monitor and evaluate activities to ensure that the principal aim of being market leader in multimedia amongst competitors is fulfilled
* Collaborating with staff to improve internal communications and events, in order to enhance customer satisfaction and to retain and maintain maximum customer uptake
Skills & Experience:
* 2 years experience in a multi-media or marketing type role
* Video / Broadcast Technology experience – including production and editing
* Flair for using computer graphics and producing audio-visuals
* Creative with a good eye for impactful desig
