Commissioning Engineer - Suffolk & UK Based
Are you an experienced commissioning engineer looking for an interesting new challenge? This job will involve overseeing the testing, process commissioning, and reliability testing of installed equipment on contracts and product installations.
The role would suit a flexible, enthusiastic, and organised individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and water industry background. The role will involve being based at a customer project in Suffolk and then required to travel to sites in the UK.
You will support testing the electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation installation work carried out by company teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing commissioning plans and attending technical meetings with clients and contractors.
2. Involved in functional testing and commissioning of electrical installations, SCADA Systems, instrumentation, and automation systems.
As the commissioning engineer, you will have extensive experience in:
1. Industrial and commercial electrical and ICA design, assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning, ideally in the water sector.
2. Previous experience in Low Voltage (LV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
You will have relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of 18th Edition, C&G 2391. You’ll be a good communicator, and able to work at various sites throughout the UK. A full driving licence is required.
Salary offered: £45-55k plus company vehicle (with fuel card), travel costs, laptop, mobile, pension scheme, and other great benefits.
