Your new role
1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our diverse client base.
2. Processing invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently and accurately.
3. Preparing VAT returns and reconciling bank accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
4. Supporting the preparation of management accounts, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries and offer expert advice when needed.
6. Dealing with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
7. Inputting supplier invoices and checking statements for accuracy.
8. Making payments in a timely and accurate manner.
9. Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register to ensure all assets are accurately recorded.
10. Assisting with payroll setup and preparation, ensuring all payroll activities are completed accurately.
11. Comparing invoices to delivery notes and purchase orders to verify accuracy and completeness.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
