We are seeking a Partner Manager to join our Schools team. As a Partner Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our key channel partners, including resellers, system integrators, MSPs, and other technology partners. You will play a critical role in building and executing sales strategies that align with business objectives, driving revenue growth, and increasing market share. Key Responsibilities : Identify potential customers and make contact. Promote Converge’s products and services to secure appointments. Arrange and diarise quality appointments for Partnership Managers. Obtain and record comprehensive information on customers and their requirements. Qualify customer requirements ahead of arranged meetings. Share ideas and experiences with the team, contributing to team improvements. Handle complaints swiftly, ensuring correct recording and escalation. Comply with the company’s internal management systems and safety procedures. Support the company’s sustainability strategy. Undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the reporting manager. Key Accountabilities : Maximise the Partnership Managers’ time by ensuring diaries are fully booked with quality meetings. Maintain quality of data on CRM systems, including producing management reports when required. Contribute to the development of strategies for public, private, and education sectors to achieve business plans. Measures of Performance : Number of quality meetings set. Number of phone calls made. Person Specification : Essential Qualifications : GCSE English GCSE Mathematics Desired Qualifications : NVQ in Business and Communication NVQ in Customer Service NVQ in Tele sales Essential Experience/Skills : Proven experience in a Partner Manager, Channel Sales, or similar role, preferably within the technology sector. Experience managing partner relationships and driving sales through third-party channels. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of CRM systems and other sales enablement tools. Desired Experience/Skills : Strong understanding of the UK technology market, including key trends, competitors, and partner ecosystems. Ability to build and execute strategic plans, with a focus on results and outcomes. Knowledge of services and reports. Job details: This is a fu ll time position - 37 hours per week.
