Our client is looking for a 2nd line support engineer to work mainly dayshift within the IT department of a busy site.
The 2nd line Support Engineers main responsibilities are to maintain and support the IT infrastructure systems. This includes PC/laptop support beyond quick fix. Co-ordinate support queries and requests working in conjunction with 1st and 3rd line teams to provide a cohesive experience for the end users to make sure that all problems are managed from initial request to completion.
Maintain knowledge base for all encountered issues. Publish customer facing technical information such as best practice guides, SOPs, FAQs.
Drive the IT infrastructure team forward with innovative ideas to improve the solution we provide to the business. Provide point of escalation for support team and customers as part of an on call rotation.

RDT support, android based and windows CE
Manage Veeam backup and replication application
Printer install and configuration desktop and industrial
Windows Server management, DHCP, DNS, DFS and GPOs
Office 365 administration
Meraki networking management, switch, AP install
Intune/SCCM support
Azure administration with view to migration of on-prem to the cloud
