HR Coordinator
Salary: £26,000-£30,000 + Benefits
Location: Farnborough
My client who is based in Camberley is seeking a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join their team. They are a market-leading Law Firm that can offer progression opportunities, competitive salary, and a strong benefits package for the right candidate. To apply for this role, you will need experience in a similar role and be qualified to CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate personnel records, conduct file audits as and when required, and remedy gaps where applicable.
2. Provide first-line advice to employees, line managers, and Heads of Department on employee relations matters.
3. Deal with day-to-day HR queries related to pay, benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
4. Liaise with other members of the HR and wider operations team on projects.
5. Document processes and create process maps.
6. Coordinate new starters and leavers, prepare offers and leaver documentation.
7. Manage and implement work experience placements on a consistent basis.
8. Coordinate employee journey, identify patterns, and escalate check-ins not completed to relevant managers.
9. Coordinate contract changes and implement subsequent system changes.
10. Benefits administration – research providers and identify options for continuous improvement of benefits provision.
11. Administer trainee recruitment including psychometric assessments, assessment centres, and interviews.
12. Communicate with employees on relevant HR matters via the internal intranet in a manner consistent with the HC brand.
13. Attend meetings to note-take as and when required and prepare monthly reports on HR metrics.
14. Support the administration of payroll adjustments internally and liaise with the external payroll provider.
15. Assist with pension administration and liaise with the external pension provider.
16. Underpin the administration of the training and development arm of the HR team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. CIPD Level 3 qualification, or equivalent.
2. Experience operating HR software and databases.
3. IT literate.
4. Depth of thought.
5. Existing technical knowledge with willingness to develop this further.
6. Can-do attitude.
7. Proven experience in an HR administration role.
8. Strong inter-personal skills.
9. Demonstrable time management ability.
