We are seeking a calm, adaptable, creative, and happy personal assistant for our vibrant 8-year-old daughter with Autism. She has limited verbal communication skills (but will make you aware when she needs something). She is physically very active and enjoys running, jumping, climbing, and hanging. She loves music, dance, and swimming. She has a sweet tooth, particularly enjoying chocolates, doughnuts, and ice cream whenever she has the opportunity! This role will involve helping her access and partake in various social and leisure activities such as: Going for short walks Visiting the park Swimming Soft play Sensory play/activities She needs someone who is proactive and able to monitor risks to keep her safe Duties include: Other relevant duties as required Transportation Companionship Dressing / undressing Plan and accompany her to access a range of activities such as soft play, swimming, visiting the park, going for walks On occasions, support our daughter at home to plan and carry out activities linked to her interests and needs e.g. sensory activities., Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
