Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
To provide a qualified highly specialist clinical psychology/ CBT service to service users of the South Recovery service. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy.
2. Offering highly specialised advice and consultation on service users' psychological care.
3. Providing clinical supervision to less experienced psychologists/CBT therapists.
4. Managing waiting lists and participating in the allocation of cases.
5. Utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development.
6. Maintaining professional registration as a Clinical Psychologist or accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Minimum Requirements
Essential criteria include:
* Post-graduate, doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
* Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC.
* Post-graduate Diploma qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
* Experience working with service users presenting with complex psychological difficulties.
