The successful Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing all of their business and private affairs globally. This will involve extensive international travel across three continents. This is a dynamic, varied and demanding senior role that will act as a real right-hand to the principals running a global conglomerate. Therefore, the Chief of Staff must have a minimum of 12 years’ professional experience, with a minimum of three years at the Chief of Staff level managing a global team. Additionally, candidates who have military training (they do really like the idea of an equerry) or those who have worked in a royal household would be preferred. EA / Chief of Staff Responsibilities Diary management for the two principals, arranging meetings with VIPs, investors, business executives, politicians, diplomats etc Organising all the logistics for meetings and events, from small intimate dinners and board meetings to larger scale meetings. Every last detail must be catered for – strong levels of attention to detail is a must Feedback details of overall business and private updates to principals Household management on a global scale. Working with the teams on the ground to prepare for the principals’ arrival. This will also involve travelling ahead of the principals Entertaining friends, business associates, dignitaries etc. The successful Chief of Staff must be personable, discreet and confident at this level Manage a team of staff and proactively engage with various staff members to ensure the private residences are running smoothly Correspondence and communication on behalf of your principal. Inbox management for one of the principals – drafting correspondence and replying as them Preparing presentations and briefings ahead of meetings Managing high-level relationships on behalf of your principal and attending meetings in his absence when necessary Recruitment of staff on a global level International travel with the principals and coordinating travel logistics alongside the PAs Private support and lifestyle management for the family Being proactive and remaining two steps ahead of their busy schedules and various interests Being a go to for all of their needs and coordinating with the relevant staff / team members Proactive research ahead of meetings Minute meetings, creating agendas and action follow ups This is a newly created Chief of Staff role which the successful candidate will be able to grow and make their own as they prove their capabilities.
